Authorized by Title VI, parts A and B, of the Older Americans Act, this program supports nutrition, information and referral, multipurpose senior centers and other supportive services for American Indian, Alaskan Native and Native Hawaiian elders. Transportation is among the supportive services provided through this program in order to purchase and/or operate vehicles and for mobility management. Federally recognized tribes, Alaska native corporations and Native Hawaiian organizations are the only eligible grant recipients. The estimated size of funding for this program is $26,000,000.
